The C4 has returned, only partially triumphant.

The new clutch feels great (the disc was worn and the bearings were so screwed up beyond belief), it's far smoother with the new flywheel, it steers far more easily after PS flush, and stops more easily after brakes were bled and pads were changed. The gearbox feels very tight and the clutch is very easy to use, making the long, notchy throws very satisfying. Unfortunately, when I started it up and drove off, it had almost no power and the engine shook when you put your foot down. I checked the plugs/wires/oil, and found a loose plug. I tightened it back in, but the misfire is still there. I brought it back to the mechanics, who I know very well and help me out all the time, and we took 30 minutes or so and checked out everything and drove it but it's going to have to go back for further inspection. Could also be partially due to a vacuum leak. They didn't have a way to change diff fluid without taking the whole thing out, so I have to figure out how that's supposed to be done eventually. Overall I'm glad everything went smoothly and engine aside, the car feels much better. Roads here are so bad that I've already cringed driving on at least 5 roads in a total of ~15 miles. Once the issue is sorted, the car will be so much better than before.

could have fouled a plug since it was loose, also depending on the type of wires you have they could be now bad, if you have a carbon core wire, after a couple heat cycles the carbon gets hard and brittle and moving them much will cause the core to break causing a weak spark.

The rough throttle could also be the distributor on its way out.

Linky! I did the Corvette Clinic kit on my 89, and it never leaked.

I'll be sure to check that. I'm inclined to say it's ignition related.

Thanks for the link! Most likely will be installing that; it's far easier than taking the whole suspension out...

Thanks for the tips. I checked the plug but wires are likely because two were burned so I replaced them with old ones temporarily.
